4 Lips!!--When it rains... pours. And this is the best rainy day I've had in ages LOL

4 Lips from Two Lips Reviews!

I truly enjoyed The Apple of His Eye by Stacy Dawn. Shane tries his best to show Eden how great marriage can be when entering into it for the right reasons. The book really flows well. Stacy Dawn shows true talent for constructing a fast paced passionate novel. Her characters feel like real people and I liked them all. Stacy Dawn is an author to watch!

Not much left to my fingernails, I've been chewing them so much waiting for a review--any review of my novella, The Apple of His Eye. Well, one came into the inbox today from Road to Romance...and it's good!!
Stacy Dawn has dealt with a dicey subject of love blossoming between a guy and his best friend’s girl in perhaps the best way possible. This makes for a sweet romance in what is potentially a bitter situation.
The Gallagher clan and Eden’s best friend’s (marriage witness) Leah all end up having to deal with the situation.
“The Apple of His Eye” is a fun read and its even more fun to pick out all the “apple” references throughout this short and sweet story. So people go ahead get your copy and enjoy!

Out and About

My husband has an unusual four days off so we've been busy out of the house with family things. We visited a free zoo about a half hour north of us and discovered they are adding in a lot of new exibits and a little splash park--yay!! It'll be great in the summer to take the boys too. They have some basic animals now. Camels for one which were HUGE! I never realized just how big a camel really is until you are standing next to one with all it's winter fuzz.

We did my oldest's peewee bowling this morning and he got his first strike!! Yipee!! He was so proud (and us too of course LOL)

Tomorrow is supposed to be gorgeous so we'll head into the Toronto Zoo. This one has pretty much everything and even though it's a bit of a distance to drive too, we're glad we have the yearly membership--also helps that the father-in-law is only twenty minutes away from it so it's sort of a two for one LOL. The pictures below, though not mine, are from our zoo.

So, as you can see, it's been family time this weekend and fun time too!

Love Floats

My newest release is available now in the form of a novella in..

Love Floats

Garden landscaper, Kelsey Ryan, is surprised to find her current client doesn’t have any land. Yet the challenge isn’t in creating a deck garden for his houseboat, but in keeping the hunky graphic artist from growing on her, especially when she thinks the garden is for his wedding day. Will a few marigolds and misunderstandings leave her matchless...or make her his first mate?

Episode #41

Welcome to another episode of ESCAPE the Mondayn here on the Sensibly Insane Channel.

I'm your host, Stacy Dawn, and I think we're taking this episode back to the sea. There is just something about a man in water so maybe we should see who washed up on shore this week.

Mmmm, hello dark brooding and intense merman...perhaps we could share a dip in the pool after the show?

Why don't we let him dry off for just a moment and spin our prize wheel? Let's see what one lucky contestant will win this week.

It landed on a funky dragonfly bookmark, soooo....

...are you all ready?

Here's your escape:

What's their story?

Give me two lines or give me twenty, it doesn't matter. Just open up and let yourself....

Feel free to pop over to Word Flirts where I'll be blogging on Tuesday!

What's up?

I'm crawling out of life for a few minutes to see what's going on around me. Seriously, I've been a horrible blogging friend, have missed checking in on half the boards for the past two weeks, and am getting tired of staring blankly at the revision cave walls. I think yesterday's day off helped to loosen a bit of the stress.

So I just wanted to say...

Episode #40: And the winner is...

Sorry I'm so late posting this today. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and skipped off to the Toronto Zoo today....uh, so did EVERYBODY else LOL. It was sooooo busy because of March Break and seeing as the weather report calls for rain and snow from tonight on, everyone had our same brilliant idea. But we had a great family day!!

Okay, so we threw the names into the hat and came up with ESCAPE the Mondayn's very first double week winner! Congratulations Robyn!!

And join us again next week for another fun-filled episode of...

Episode #40

Ahoy, maties. Welcome to another gameshow Monday, which I hope I can make less mundane for you!
Quick recap of the ship's:

1) Unless otherwise stated, the game is open until Midnight PST of the Monday it is displayed upon.

2) To be eligible, contestants must continue the given escape with their answers placed in the comments section.

3) A winner will be chosen randomly from all elibible contestants to receive the prize from the current day prize wheel spin.

4) All hands are to remain over the keyboard and away from the shirtless male models

So, I think now is a good time to hoist the sails up and reveal our hunky guest spinner for today. Everyone put your hands to your forehead and give a big salute for our captain today....
Ahoy, Captain!

Mmm-mmm-mmm I do so love a man in uniform....and out of it **wink**

Maybe we should put those white gloves to good use and get you to spin our wheel. Let's find out what one, lucky, randomly selected contestant could win today.

aOoooh, looks like our sailor contestants will have a chance to get a tatoo for their tour at sea. I'll even be a good commanding officer and ship it to the winner in one of my FUN-STUFFED envelopes!

So, pull up the anchor's time to play!
Here's your escape:

What's their story?

Give me two lines or give me twenty, it doesn't matter. Just let your fingers sail over the keyboard and let yourself...

Also, there are a lot of new books on the Diva Bookshelf for you to browse through this week!

Who's Afraid of a Happy Ending?

Wow, what a great documentary. When it comes to the States, you all have to watch it. Major named authors gave their interpretation of romance and their styles, Debbie Macomber sat their knitting and Nora Roberts had more attitude than I would have thought LOL. Jennifer Cruisie did NOT look like I pictured her in my head (never seen her before) but she was cool. Then the three writers they interviewed were really interesting.

Romance Writers on TV!

Our very own Kelly is going to be on a TV documentary tonight (March 8) on BRAVO at 8:30Pm EST.

"Who’s Afraid of Happy Endings?" chronicles three romance writers: Kelly Boyce, an aspiring writer from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who makes her first pitch at a Romance Writers’ of America (RWA) Conference; Kayla Perrin, a contemporary romance author from Hamilton, Ontario, whose shift into erotica could propel her into the mainstream market; and Kathryn Smith, an historical romance author, now living in Connecticut, who has her sights set on the best seller lists as she delves into the “dark side” of paranormal romance."Who’s Afraid of Happy Endings?" also features interviews with some of the brightest stars in the romance fiction world including NY Times best selling authors Jo Beverley, Jennifer Crusie, Eloisa James, Debbie Macomber and Nora Roberts!

Catch it if you can and tape it if you can't LOL!
